Kid's Page!
We love to help kids at the studio. For you, our fearless artists, we have glass you can fuse, clay you can throw on the potters wheel, or (everyone's favorite) sculpture clay! Sculpture clay is a blast: grab a pile of clay and create anything you want with it. After a few days of drying time your pieces are fired in preparation for glazing. On your return visit you can choose from our large collection of colors and paint your piece as you like. Your piece will be fired again and then you can keep or gift your treasured work. If you have always wanted to make a cup or bowl, you can try our potters wheel. We are ready and willing to teach you how.
Working with glass is really cool! Start with a base piece of glass, then decorate it as you like. Make a picture out of glass pieces or pick colors you like and lay them on to create a splash of color. After you're done your creation will be fired and shaped into a dish, sun catcher, picture frame or other creative options. Check out the glass fusing page for ideas, or scroll down to see what other kids have done.
